Coker Accident Lawyers is proud to share that Attorney Michael Coker, recently testified before the Georgia House of Representatives at the State Capitol on February 26, 2025. Michael appeared to argue in favor of a proposed law protecting new cities in Georgia.
Attorney Michael Coker played a key role in the movement that started the City of Mulberry. With a legal career built on representing individuals and fighting for justice, Michael was a natural leader in helping the new city get off the ground.
During his testimony at the Capitol, Michael spoke to lawmakers about the challenges and priorities facing a newly formed city. He addressed issues such as infrastructure development, community services, zoning, and public safety.
One of the most important parts of his speech focused on how state lawmakers can help new cities like Mulberry succeed. He highlighted the need for fair funding, access to resources, and a collaborative relationship between local and state governments. Michael spoke with clarity and purpose, much like he does in the courtroom, and reminded lawmakers that real people—families, business owners, and students—are depending on the decisions made under the Gold Dome.
